Refer someone to TEKVA

TEKVA is a charity backing working-age adults under financial pressure in New South Wales: help with the bills and deadlines, hardship arrangements, and getting back to work and income. Any income, including Centrelink. .

TEKVA takes new people through referrals from services like yours.

About you

Tell us who's referring and the form opens right here — about four minutes, and you can paste straight from your case notes.

New organisations are welcome — no arrangement needed to start. Nothing about the person is asked until the form opens.

For your team

The referral pack — one printable A4 sheet: who we are, fit, the process.

Need TEKVA's consent form? Download and print it. Your organisation's own signed form, or the person's agreement in their own email or text, also works, as long as it covers the referral to TEKVA. Verbal agreement isn't enough.

Financial counselling at TEKVA is delivered by an FCAN-registered Financial Counsellor. Financial capability support is provided by a Financial Capability Worker, whose scope is capability support only — no credit advice or creditor negotiation. Credit advice and creditor negotiation sit with our Financial Counsellor. We also provide practical support and referral coordination, and connect people with crisis services where they need them. We do not provide AFSL-licensed financial product advice, legal advice, or insolvency advice. Where another service is the better fit, we'll help connect you with community services, tenancy help or specialist legal support.
