When you're back on your feet, contribute however you can — financially, through volunteering, or by mentoring others.
Scope of support
TEKVA provides crisis triage, practical support, and referral coordination. We do not provide financial counselling, financial advice, legal advice, or insolvency advice.
Where specialist support is needed, TEKVA connects participants to qualified professionals including financial counsellors, practising solicitors, registered tax agents, and registered insolvency practitioners.
Any information provided by TEKVA — including through our online tools — is general in nature and does not constitute professional advice. Participants are responsible for obtaining appropriate professional advice for their specific circumstances.
The Five Core Commitments
You will communicate openly about all changes to your circumstances, income, struggles, or progress.
You will commit to at least one meaningful personal growth practice — spiritual, educational, or community-based.
You will take care of your physical and mental health: exercise, sleep, eat well, seek therapy or treatment when needed, and address destructive patterns.
You will show up consistently, work toward your goals, and give 100% effort.
When you're able, contribute back to help others. This might be financial, volunteering your time, mentoring someone, or sharing your skills. There's no fixed amount — it's based on your capacity.
Types of Support
Repayment plans agreed upfront, with hardship pauses if needed.
Must be used for the approved purpose; receipts required.
Paid direct to training providers, reviewed periodically, co-payment may apply.
May include courses, internships, volunteering, or gig work; engagement is required.
Reviews & Breach
Support is reviewed monthly or quarterly depending on type.
TEKVA may pause or end support if:
For loans, breach may trigger immediate repayment.
By applying for and receiving TEKVA support, you agree to these Terms.
